thought i could experiment with a nutella recipe & figured cookies sounded good (& easy ;)
next time i may add more white chocolate chips and actually put nutella in little pockets of raw dough before baking. anyway, they turned out great!
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup coarsely chopped white chocolate (or chips) - I used both
3-4 tbsp Nutella
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually stir into the creamed mixture. Mix in the Nutella and then the white chocolate chips. The Nutella doesn't have to be mixed in thoroughly, just enough to be combined. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown.
DO not overcook!!!These are better soft, but that's just my opinion:)
