independence day cupcakes.

i made coconut cupcakes with a coconut rum frosting, and in a festive mood decided to dye them red and blue for our fourth of july barbecue. i had to frustratingly experiment in order to achieve a nice true blue color but could care less as soon as i tasted one. red, blue, green, whatever, tasted damn good.  they were sooooo delicious and needless to say, gone within minutes.
